In 1974 Gary Fisher started ripping apart old clunkers to build bikes he and his friends could ride up and down mountains. The rest is mountain biking history and Gary is now recognized as one of the founders of the sport. Gary still loves to ride and is still leading the industry with his lightweight single pivot dual suspension bikes and 29 inch wheel mountain bikes. Fisher bikes may not be as well known in Australia as they are in the USA, but we know how well they ride. Their handling alone makes them a staff favourite. We have been fortunate to have Gary visit our store and he’s a really cool guy. We think his bikes are cool too.
